Limanagzi Bay
A pinch of salt, sand, and nature-meets-history experience awaits in the glimmering Limanagzi Bay.
Offering one of the best beachy, informal vibes in all of the Turquoise Coast, Limanagzi allures visitors into its shimmering bay. Easily accessible by water, the bay is just a few minutes away from Kas’ hopping center. Abysmal cliffs surround it, leaving an opening where its rocky beaches meet the cerulean sea. Limanagzi is everything opposite of other Mediterranean hotspots like Kaputas and Fethiye: calm, relaxing, and seductively secluded.
Thanks to a magnificent confluence of land and sea in Limanagzi, the water has its color palette unlike anywhere else in the region. Soak in it while you are there and have a taste of its dazzling aquamarine world. While snorkeling, you will see a variety of fish and even spot some loggerhead turtles if you are lucky. There are shabby beach huts and boho cafes all around the bay, where you feel the quintessential Mediterranean spirit sinking in. You can also rent loungers and beach umbrellas for a small fee. The sun becomes all the more infections peeking among the pine-covered hills looming over Limanagzi.
Limanagzi’s Lycian Way setting adds to its rackety charm even more. You will see hikers coming in and out of the route for a moment’s rest in the cove. This livens up the otherwise uneventful site for the better, occasionally turning it into a social hub. If you have time, surrender yourself to the stories of the hikers, and try the route for yourself. You can take a brief walk on both sides of the iconic Lycian Way before your cruiser leaves the port.
