The modern and ancient capital of Jordan is one of the oldest inhabited cities. The city's modern buildings blend amazingly with the remnants of ancient civilizations.
Sunniest city of Egypt and a popular touristic stop for many cruises. The local market here is an excellent place to do some shopping and to find Egyptian fresh spices.
Cairo is the sprawling capital city of Egypt, located on the banks of the Nile River, known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and bustling city life.
Kom Ombo means ‘hill of the gold’ crowned with Temple of Komombo. The temple is unusual as one side is dedicated to the god Haroesis and the other side to Sobek.
A top travel destination in Egypt with a wealth of historic monuments and buildings bringing Egypt’s fabled past to life. Luxor is called the world’s greatest open air museum.
The 42m long obelisk was left unfinished when some cracks appeared, but had this obelisk been completed, it would have been the heaviest, weighing nearly 1100 tons!
Absolutely stunning in its natural beauty, Wadi Rum summarizes the romance of the desert. You may meet some friendly Bedouins living close by.

I did this tour in Aug/Sept of 2024 and thought it was a really well organized tour and great value for money. We were picked up directly from Cairo airport as soon as we entered the building (transfer was included in the tour) which made us instantly feel safe and looked after. We were helped through customs and directly into our car which took us straight to our hotel. Very well organized and I was impressed with the service.
Mo, our guide in Egypt, was fantastic and has extensive knowledge of Egypt and it’s history. I really liked how everything was spelled out very clearly for us on our first night where we all met, to understand what we were doing and what was required. There was the option to buy an Egypt sim card via Travel Talk which made that process much easier also.
All the accommodation was amazing, especially Luxor and Dahab. Massive rooms in Luxor, and exceptional balconies and views from both.
The Nile Cruiser was great! Amazing service from the staff onboard, they did our washing in just a couple of hours and were exceptional at accommodating different dietary requirements for people on our tour (such as gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan etc).
I really loved the hot air balloon ride which was a bucket list item I could tick off!
In Jordan, our tour guide was Faizel who was also great and made our time in Jordan enjoyable. The accommodation in Wadi Rum exceeded expectations for me. I thought we might be roughing it for a night but the little cabins were spacious with air con and our own bathrooms.
I also absolutely loved the fact that we visited the Dead Sea! Another bucket list item ticked off!
There is only one reason I wouldn’t give the tour 5 stars and that is regarding how poorly some animals were treated, and the fact that the tour supported those industries/activities. You don’t have to be an animal activist to see that the camels, horses and donkeys throughout Egypt and Jordan are not treated well (extremely skinny, whip marks, scars and branding all over them, while being forced to serve people in very hot weather). Unfortunately camel rides as well as horse and carriage rides are promoted on the tour, with the horse and carriage ride being the only mode of transport initially offered to get to Edfu temple. After letting my guide know that I didn’t want to support cruelty towards the horses, our guide happily arranged an alternative mode of transport for those that didn’t wish to participate (which ended up being a third of our group which was great!). It would be great if alternative transport options to Edfu were given upfront to all travellers, along with an education piece as to why, so that each person could make an informed decision (and the same goes for the camel and donkey rides).
Overall, I think it was a really well organized tour with fabulous guides and great activities. I felt 100% safe the whole time. Very glad I went on this tour!
