While traveling in such an amazing place! After seeing the amazing decorations and wandering around in the dark, walking down the carved corridors of the Catacombs below, carved into the bedrock and having many amazing statues, sarcophagi and murals, is an incredible experience and a must visit!
Visit to Pompey’s Pillar, One of the most prominent tourist attractions in the city of Alexandria, the Column of Pompey is a Roman triumphal column that still exists today in Alexandria and is one of the oldest and highest monumental columns in the world.
Continue visiting a place that has witnessed a lot of history. The Citadel castle was built on the exact site of the famous Alexandria Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Right next to the water, definitely worth a visit so you can take beautiful pictures. . .

What an amazing 10 days! So many sites, so much history! While seeing all those ancient and amazing sites, it is also the guide that makes a trip that extra bit special! Safi called us family from our very first meeting and through the tour, and he meant it! Safi was patient and accommodating with everyone and everything down to the smallest detail, I cant imagine what the tour would have been without his in-depth knowledge and patience! Thanks Safi!! Thanks Travel Talk! I would have no hesitation in recommended both to anyone, we felt secure and safe the entire trip.
Well, maybe the train was a bit of an ‘adventure’, hope Egypt updates the sleeper trains soon, it is the only part that I marked down, however this is no fault to Travel Talk or our guide .

The most amazing experience and a huge tick off the bucket list! We got to see and do so much in such a short amount of time and it was well worth the early rises and late nights! Our guide Samir was the best, he was super knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history and culture. The tour was very well organised from rom the moment we got off the plane. The 3 night cruise up the Nile was definitely the way to go!
