We kick off the adventure with a tour of San Francisco with our expert guide, visiting famous sights as the Union Square, Civic Center and Fisherman’s Wharf. Gazing upon the fascinating Golden Gate Bridge through the mist, it is easier to appreciate why many call San Francisco the most beautiful city in the U.S. Once we find our bearings, enjoy personal leisure time for the rest of the day. Your tour leader will be happy to provide suggestions or assistance! Perhaps take a cable car ride to Fisherman’s Wharf viewing the famous Alcatraz island, and have a true ‘taste of San Francisco’, feasting on local seafood and the unique sourdough breads. Or take a stroll by Sea Lions’ Marina to watch them frolic and play.
Journeying inland to Sacramento, the capital of the ‘Golden State’, we make a stop in the Old Town. Take some time to see around the once buzzing centre of the Gold Rush and the final point of the Pony Express in the 1860s. We continue on to Virginia City, embracing impressive views of Lako Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains along the way. After visiting the famed 19th century mining metropolis and revitalising the Old West, a short drive takes us to Reno. Tonight have a refreshing rest at the hotel, perhaps even try your luck in the casino!
Crossing the plains of Northern Nevada, we journey through the Black Rock Desert and cruise along Humboldt River. Following the footsteps of early pioneers on the Oregon and California Trails, arrive in Elko. Previously a rough and tumble town lying at the end of Central Pacific Railroad, check out some of the town’s highlights. Twin Falls will be our next and final stop for the day as we enter Idaho’s Magic Valley Region.
Leaving Twin Falls, we cross the ‘River of No Return’, Snake River. Visit Craters of the Moon National Monument and experience lunar landscape on earth in cloes resemblance just as the first astronauts did! In the afternoon, arrive in the highly acclaimed Yellowstone National Park, the first national park in the U.S. founded in 1872! Rest up for a full day of exploration tomorrow!

Tag along your expert guide to on a tour of this immense geothermal wonderland which includes waterfalls, geysers, canyons, colourful wildlife and more! Depending on the season, some of the incredible highlights will be Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful, Yellowstone Canyon’s majestic falls, and the beautiful Hayden Valley.
Today we travel through snow-capped mountains to Grand Teton National Park and witness magnificent peaks towering over 4,000 metres and the diverse local wildlife. Continue to Jackson Hole, the sophisticated “Crown Jewel” of the Rocky Mountains. Visit the Snake River Outlook and try your eye at capturing the stunning landscape made famous by Ansel Adam’s iconic shot in black and white. Arriving in Utah, known for its Mormon Community, embark on a short tour of its capital, Salt Lake City. See how Mormon followers of Brigham Young built one of the best-planned cities in the country. We visit the State Capital building, famed Temple Square and the Tabernacle before arriving at our hotel for the evening. If you are up for it, perhaps join an optional dinner at the Rooftop Restaurant for panoramic views of Temple Square?
Heading south through Provo, home to Brigham Young University, we make our way to Canyonlands National Park. Here we get to see a wilderness of countless canyons and other-worldly buttes carved by the mighty Colorado River. The arms of the river divide this topographic wonderland into four: the Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze & the Rivers themselves. Then, visit some of the most pictersque spots in the ‘Island in the Sky’ mesa, resting on sheer sandstone cliffs 300-meters above the plain. We finish off the day at Moab with a refreshing sleep.
Our journey continues through this natural dreamland as we visit one of Utah’s Mighty 5, Arches National Park. Freely stroll a fantasy land of contrasting colous, landforms and textures unlike any other place on earth. This inspirational park boasts over 2,000 natural stone arches, in addition to countless soaring pinnacles and giant balanced rocks! If you are up for more adventure, you may join an optional Jet Boat Float trip on Colorado River. Return to Moab for overnight.

This evening, weather permitting, make sure to gaze upon the enchanting night-sky with sparkling stars & breath-taking constellations.
Leaving Bryce Canyon in the morning, we are welcomed by fascinating views of Lake Powell, where canyon walls of red-rock tower over crystal blue waters. Crossing Colorado, enter the Navajo Indian Reservation while admiring views of the Painted Desert. Passing through Cameron, a trading post en route, we arrive in the world famous Grand Canyon! One of the seven great natural wonders and most impressive sceneries of the world, pause at the rim of the canyon. Here, take some time to experience and appreciate this colourful mile-deep canyon and all its plunging gorges and rising spires formed by the powerful Colorado River. We ride on to Flagstaff to rest after a full day of adventure and amazement.
Viva Las Vegas! In the morning, we ride through the scenic Mojave Desert to Las Vegas, the dazzling “Entertainment Capital of the World”. On the way, we will pass through the authentic town of Seligman on the famed Route 66, which looks as if it froze in time sixty years ago. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure exploring the world-renowned Las Vegas Strip.
The day is all yours to spend at leisure! Shop at designer outlet stores, try your luck at the wonder-like casinos, attend a top-notch show or musical, and stroll the world-renowned Las Vegas Strip at your own pace. You can also take an optional trip to Death Valley, one of the hottest, driest and lowest places on earth!Though also known as ‘Sin City’, Las Vegas boasts plentiful attractions for all ages!
