Until then, you can start to explore Istanbul like climbing to the top of the Galata Tower for epic views or splash some cash at the Grand Bazaar. Our next stop is the spectacular, well preserved ancient city of Ephesus. Ephesus was cited in the book of Revelations, and historians believe the Gospel of John was written here. Famed for the Temple of Artemis which was completed around 550 BC and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. We will sleep overnight in the seaside town of Kusadasi.

I took the Highlights of Turkey tour in March 2023. It was a fantastic experience. The hotels were very high standard and well located; the restaurants were good value and delicious, serving lots of authentic local food; and our guide, Mustafa, was absolutely wonderful. He’s a local and proud of his country, and clearly enjoys sharing his passion and enthusiasm with visitors. Can’t recommend enough.

I had a fabulous time on this tour! Yavuz was very organised, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He made travelling in an unfamiliar country/culture very safe.
