We did the All About the Balkans in April/May 2024 and we enjoyed it immensely. There were 2 parts of the tour with an extension to Greece after the completion of the Balkans Tour. Dusan (Guide) and Slave (Driver) were the absolute best. Accommodating, respectful and knowledgeable in the countries we visited and nobody gets left behind!!
The driving in itself, despite some harrowing roads that rewards with awesome scenery and views was exceptional from Slave. No risky or agressive driving, always careful and calm.
The 2nd leg of our tour to Greece was a dissapointment though with the group missing a few of the key sites (Temple of Apollo at Deplhi, Mount Olympus) and Athens was a short introduction walk in the city. You ahave to arranged for all the key sites yourself which was fine as we extneded our stay in Athens to do this. Metheora made up for the Greece portion as that was spectacular.
The entire trip was without WIFI and Toilet facility on the bus which was also a little disappointing although that was covered with ample stops/break.
Having said that, we would tour with TravelTalk again as the overall experience was excellent.

p/s some hotels are only 4 Stars by name only. lol. We got by with the friendly and helpful staff though.

I couldn’t recommend this trip more! We had Bojan through the early part of the trip, up to our time in Skopje. He was absolutely brilliant, and we enjoyed his company, knowledge and that he made everything so easy. He definitely went the extra mile. Along with him was our drive, Christian who was awesome! Two great guys. The landscape is remarkable, the history is great and the visits/tours are well planned so you can get the most out of the region. In Greece, we has Kostas who is a fantastic guide, and really nice person. Greek history is an area of expertise for Kostas and he was so friendly and interesting to talk to. Be aware, some of the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina are somewhat difficult, but Christian made us feel in safe hands as a driver. Thank you team!

Simon is best best guide we have ever encountered; he was very helpful and so knowlageable about every location we went to together. He quickly became friends with the whole group since he was very welcoming and treated us like family. Our driver Kris was also amazing, he kept the bus super clean and all the rides were comfortable due to him driving very safely. When going to Greece we got a change of bus and guide… our new guide Stefanos was accommodating and passionate about his country, but the new bus and driver were not so great. The bus was old, stuffy, and very cramped. The driver Stoyan was sometimes driving on 2 lanes at the same time, and taking turns with high speed. This did not make us feel very safe. Overall this tour was great and we will be recommending it to our friends and family. For future travelers we really recommend venturing into the local cuisines, they have big delicious portions for a low price almost everywhere!

We went in end of June. The weather was really hot. It was very nice to see the Balkan countries. Our tour guide Bojan was very knowledgeable and explained everything really well. The bus driver Dejan was also really good and drove well on the winding roads. I’ll recommend this trip to whoever likes to explore Balkans. It is worth the money!!
