Money Matters
The currency in Greece is the Euro (EUR). We recommend that you wait until you go to the city center to change your money. Exchange rates are usually more favorable in the city.
ATMs are available and credit cards are widely accepted, except in some small islands and local shops.
We recommend carrying cash with you at all times for small purchases.
