Grabrok Volcano

Grabrok Volcano is the largest crater in the volcanic fissure of Ljósufjöll, expanding in western Iceland with an adventurous invitation. Seen from a distance, it appears innocuous and quiet. And sure enough, there hasn’t been an eruption in the region for thousands of years. It takes 40 minutes to find yourself at the top of this 170-meter volcanic mountain with a scenic hike. Once you reach the summit, you will witness a matchless view of Ljósufjöll. The site is 90 kilometers in length, which makes it one of the longest fissure systems in the country.
