Golden Hand Bridge

visit Golden Hand Bridge

Appearing out of the tree-blanketed earth like a scene from a fantasy movie, the Golden Hand Bridge is provocatively beautiful. It is among the most iconic landmarks of Vietnam, extending near Da Nang as a passage for pedestrians in Ba Na Hills Theme Park. It is not the bridge itself, however, that receives this ongoing attention. The two giant hands supporting the golden walkway bestow a feel upon the site so otherworldly that it will leave you speechless. Although they are not stone, they seem indistinguishable from the rocky ridges beneath. The worn-down, mossy look makes their appearance all the more natural.

The bridge is not as old as it looks either. It was completed as part of an architectural project in 2018. Today, visitors value it for the unusual and formidable design rather than the engineering feats, and the bridge accommodates hundreds of visitors daily in the busy season. If you are visiting around these times, you will most likely see the site packed. Still, if you approach from right angles, the wild-looking hands offer a thrilling photographic experience.
