Citizens of the EU, Australia, New Zealand, UK, USA, and Canada may purchase their visa stamps upon arrival. If you are a citizen of South Africa, you should arrange your visa beforehand.

Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival in Egypt, and you should carry your passport or travel document with you at all times.

During the three seasons, the weather is comfortably warm across the ancient lands of Egypt, with temperatures rarely dropping below 20°C.
